As cancer incidence rises, late-stage diagnosis rises, and extremely aggressive cancers  become more and more resistant to the cancer treatment drugs currently on the market, a new treatment is needed in the fight against this horrible disease.  Dr. Paula Hammond uses her TED Talk to discuss what she calls a new "super weapon" in the fight against cancer.  Dr. Hammond details how she and her colleagues at MIT have invented a nanoparticle that will serve to to treat aggressive and drug resistant cancers.
