Sometimes, I forget to brush my teeth at night

I don't always wear my bonnet

You can find my gas tank on E every other Friday

A few times a week, I make a big deal out of nothing

And there are instances when my Excel formulas don't work at the office

Sometimes, I get mad at the world

Because, sometimes, the world needs a gut-check

But...

I deserve to live.

Because my blackness makes this world beautiful.
