The top priority here at Kroun is to elevate The Kingdom of The Most Hight in every way possible.  Through promoting Black excellence, highlighting poetry and the arts, embracing style, fighting for freedom, and leading healthy lifestyles, we intend to maintain this ideal.  One way we can achieve this, is by sharing the spotlight with individuals seeking to do the same things.  As a collaborative effort, our very own Founder and Chief Editor/Chief Content Contributor, Sarabi teamed up with another young budding Queen, The Golden Girl.  

We wanted to show how two completely different women took one black outfit and made it their very own.  Without input from one another, both women styled themselves in a way that may show their own authentic selves.  As you can see, there are subtle differences that make each ensemble unique.  From the dress to the pants, from the calming cream-colored scarf to the vibrant printed blazer—each piece tells you a little about the queen wearing it.  So, please open your hearts to Kroun’s very first guest, the beautiful GoldenGirl. 

The Golden Girl’s Place in The Kingdom

A full-time nurse who often sits back and asks, "What's next?" Still trying to fulfill my purpose in all aspects is how I see myself at this point in life.

Forever trying to grow in Christ while fighting with things that may have strongholds on me mentally, emotionally, or socially. A wife of only a few short months—I’m enjoying the growing process of two strangers becoming one. I'm still straddling the fence of whole-heartedly pursuing being a stylist (real life takes a lot of my energy), but I forever enjoy finding "thrifted gold", online deals, or the high I feel when I create random outfits 😍. 

But most of all I’m simply trying to maintain my peace by playing all the roles Christ has assigned for me, while not losing myself to them as well. 

Give me a few years and I’ll be sure to give u much more insight on the journey ahead. 😉

  A Note from TheGoldenGirl

There's nothing better than spicing up a basic all black ensemble... #ColorPop aimed to do so! 

I bet you're thinking of ways you would've chosen to put together this all black ensemble completely different from what you see... And that's the entire point!

Just as we all have our own style, we all have our own purpose to serve on Earth. No two individuals are the same no matter how much they have in common. 

So EMBRACE IT!

Romans 12: 6-8 is one of my favorite scriptures to rely on when I feel the pressure society places on women to be "on trend”—whether it’s fashion, music, politics, lifestyle, etc. 

Romans 12:6-8 reminds me that we all have our own individual path set before us in order to serve our purpose here on Earth and further The Kingdom of The Most High.  There’s never a need to apologize for your individuality!  And, as each individual comes together, then we make a whole! 

Do what YOU do and do it "GLADLY"! 🤗🎉🎀💋
