The Black Dollar
Black people in America have been victims of oppression for centuries. We thought that, in 2016, things might be different. However, our nation doesn’t seem to value us as they should. So, we need to take our spending power, our $1.3 trillion dollar spending power, and place it in the hands of our own people. Here is a list of black businesses across several categories. Please do more research and find black owned businesses specific to your area. You can visit black-exchange.com or blackownedbiz.com to find more comprehensive lists of black owned businesses. Also, please remember that you may not be able to buy black EVERYTHING because the resources and/or black presence in certain industries simply may not be there. But, please, buy black where you can.
