Believe Me

I believe in long nights of making shit happen because you love what you do. 

I believe in the type of success that comes from bloodied hands and tear-stained cheeks. 

I believe in the power of "No" because it leaves room for the right "Yes".

I believe in the peace of a joyful heart that will get you to your destination through your journey's eye before you can blink. 

I believe in the grace of appreciation, 'cause all of this shit, everything you know, could be gone in a second. 

I believe in walking in the opposite direction when what's in front of you doesn't see the soul in you. 

I believe I'm allowed to take some more time to figure out what else it is I believe and add it to the list of things that make me Kristen Marie.  

Then we can share each other's lists and maybe you'll finally believe me.
