My Lord

The Most High

I want to be closer to you

I want to live for you

And walk in Christ

My flesh is too weak to stand, Lord

And this world does not know your name

But I choose to honor you, Heavenly Father

And meet every soul with the kindness, love, and graciousness

That you have so eloquently and unwaveringly shown me

Help me

For this world can make you dark.
