We all know that racism is a toxic disease running rampant throughout our society, especially throughout the Western world.  The United States, in particular, has seen an uprising of old, deeply rooted habits, feelings, and attitudes from racist bigots of past towards minority populations.  Through persistent activism and unrelenting freedom movements, we are addressing these issues and make strides, almost daily, to dismantle this system.  But is it enough?  Is racism literally making us sick? Public Health Sociologist David R. Williams proposes this in a recent TED talk.
